Chania is a city of approximately 70.000 inhabitants, with a long history that dates from ancient times. It has been a meeting point for many civilizations (Minoan, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Venetian and Turkish) that have all left their marks, which the visitor can meet in each of his/her steps.
