The Lexis school was a pleasant surprise for me as I arrived in Chania this summer. I was in Crete for the first time, alone, and I found in the school a friendly atmosphere with many young teachers always willing to help and make you feel "home". The intensive course I followed was held by a high educated teacher, the lessons were very interesting, intercative, and of high quality. In the 3 weeks I spent in Chanià the school organized many recreative activities (cooking days, dinners, visit to the old city, arch.museum and art gallery etc.) so I was always in touch with other courses' students, coming from all over Europe, exchanging experiences and having fun together. Overall I advice this school to everyone who wants to learn modern Greek but at the same time spend holidays in a place rich with history, where nature is marvellous, and people are joyful and openhearted. For sure I will come back next year!
